Frequently Asked Questions

General guidance about DSLRKIT products, compatibility, orders and support. Product-specific answers take priority when they differ from this page.

Products and compatibility

How do I choose the correct DSLRKIT product?

Start with the exact function and device requirements. Compare battery type, voltage, current, connector, polarity, dimensions and the product compatibility section. Model names that look similar are not automatically interchangeable.

What does “Tested Compatible” mean?

It means the stated device or configuration has been physically tested with that product. “Expected Compatible” means specifications appear to match but the exact device has not been physically verified.

Can a dummy battery be charged?

Unless a product page explicitly says otherwise, do not place a dummy battery or battery eliminator in a charger. It is intended to replace the battery during powered operation, not to store charge.

Can I use any USB or USB-C power source?

No. Use only an input source that matches the exact voltage and protocol requirements stated on the product page. A USB-C connector alone does not guarantee compatible voltage or power negotiation.

Orders and payment

Do I need an account to order?

No. Guest checkout is available. Please provide an accurate email address and shipping information so order updates can be delivered.

How are payments processed?

Available payment methods are shown securely at checkout. PayPal processes payment credentials through its hosted payment flow; DSLRKIT does not ask customers to email card numbers or passwords.

Why might checkout be unavailable for my country or order?

Availability depends on destination, order value, shipping service, payment-provider support and compliance requirements. A country appearing in an address list does not guarantee that every product can be shipped there.

Shipping, returns and support

When will my order ship?

Processing and delivery estimates will be shown in the applicable shipping information for the product and destination. Tracking availability depends on the selected service.

Where can I find manuals and files?

Use the Downloads page or the relevant product support page. Match the model/SKU and, where shown, the hardware or document version before downloading.

What information should I send to support?

Include your order number, exact product model/SKU, device model, power source and a clear description of the issue. Photos can help, but never include payment-card details, passwords or authentication codes.
